WOW Swims - Series Prizes
Age Groups
Below are our Age Group categories tailored to swimmers of all levels and abilities.
18 & Under Rookies
19 – 30 Inters
31 – 45 Prime
46 – 60 Pioneers
61– 75 Seniors
75 & Over Veterans
Leader Board
Check the Leader Board regularly to see where you stand in the competition. Compete with others, climb the ranks, and strive to reach the top position.
Points System
As soon as you complete a WOW Swims Series event you will be automatically entered into our Series points system so you can track your progress and see how you rank against other participants in your Age Group.
Leader Boards will be regularly published and our end of season male & female winners in each Age Group will be awarded prizes.
Points are awarded in two categories in each age group:
Challenge - race distances 1.5km and above
1st = 10 points, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4, 5th = 2
Sprint - race distances 750m - 800m
1st = 5, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 3, 4th = 2, 5th = 1
A minimum of three events must be completed to be eligible for Series Prizes. Note that 250m - 400m events are not eligible for points.
