About Masters Swimming WA
Masters Swimming WA (MSWA) motto “Swim for Life” encourages all adults, regardless of ability or age, to swim regularly to promote fitness and health in a fun environment.
Masters Swimming WA (formerly AUSSI) was established in 1977, is affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia, and as part of the worldwide Masters Swimming movement. We have over 1,700 members, ranging in age from 18 to 95, who enjoy “Fitness, Friendship and Fun” through swimming and social activities as members of over 35 clubs throughout the State.
Members have a variety of capabilities – from those who can only swim a lap or two, to world record holders. We provide a wide range of skill development, training, and competition opportunities in both the pool and open water swimming.
The Act, Belong, Commit WOW Series is unique in that it is 6 swims that are community lead, with individual events organised by some of our MSWA clubs.
About the Act Belong Commit WOW Series
The WOW Swims Western Australian open water swim series offers six open water swims between November and March each year.
Our swims welcome all ages and abilities for both MSWA members and the wider swimming community. They offer distances between 250 metres and 10 kilometres, with most swims offering a range of distances within the one event.
Enjoy beautiful locations, from Matilda Bay on the Swan River, to the Indian Ocean from Fremantle to Mullaloo, and east to Lake Leschenaultia in the Perth Hills, you can swim your way around the greater Perth area.
WOW Swims acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we meet, the Noongar people, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
